Parvyn has collaborated with Aussie Hip-Hop artists such as Mantra in 2011 on his single “Got Me Wrong” which was on high rotation on Triple J and ABC’s Rage TV show. Licensing deals with HBO TV’s ‘Better Call Saul’ and Ubisoft Games ‘Far Cry 4’ helped to increase the bands international profile. In 2010, Parvyn was a founding member of The Bombay Royale, who in 2012 released their first album ‘You Me Bullets Love’, which went straight to number one on the iTunes ‘world’ charts. Her debut record ‘Sa’ has collaborations with producers Joelistics, Yelderbert aka Max Dowling and Bob Knob from HopeStreet Recordings. Parvyn’s current solo project synthesies a lifetime of work and represents a new step in her practice. Best known as vocalist in cult psychedelic band The Bombay Royale she is influenced by electronica and jazz and her background in Sikh devotional music and her training in Indian classical music and dance.
